I'm with Durk but with this necropost I would like to hear an update on your canvas top condition after your last post, some 4 years later.

    How is it holding up?

I want the same kind of canvas top for my '68 for the same kind of reasons--classic looks, nostalgia and a lack of good feelings about Bestop's product and their ambivalent reviews. I love that black/gray color.

I have to put in my 2 cents and agree with Tim I have a Bestop on my CJ6. I drive it and wheel it and the windows show it. I tore it and repaired it by sewing by hand. It was a pain to install and the doors needed massaging but it is a few years old now and still holding up really well. Lots of long trips on the highway and it doesn't flap much or make lots of noise. While not a perfect soft top, I don't think it was too bad for the money. I don't feel canvas would be as nice for the driving/drafts/everyday use but it does look cooler. Of course, I am looking at maybe buying a hardtop next time around for the amount of fishing, hunting and camping we do. No offense here, just throwing out my opinion.
