Replacing soft top windows

Has anyone ever checked out the idea of replacing the windows in a soft top?

I've got a Whitco top that could be original, or at least it was replaced many years ago. The top itself is in pretty decent shape but the windows are very cloudy and won't polish out. I've tried, but they are too damaged.

I was considering taking the top to the shop that recovered my seats and see if they would give me a price on replacing the windows, or maybe using my top as a pattern to make a new cover. Has anyone gone down this road before?

I took my original Whitco top to a sailboat sail repair shop in Fort Lauderdale several years ago. They did a great job replacing windows and zippers.

I took my top into an upholstery shop in Roseburg and had the rear window replaced It cost me 60.00 and took about 4 hrs. Same day service.

How about doors? I need to reskin my doors. All my local upholstery shops can't do it. They say I need a long arm sewing machine, which they do't have.
