Is it possible your top is meant for a late model CJ5? I have one of those. Everything looks right for our old jeeps except the windshield mating.

That is probably a CJ5 windshield dating at or before 1967 (right guys?). AFAIK, you can easily switch to a windshield dating all the way to 1975.
