Are he early D30 hubs identical to late D27 hubs?

    I expect the spline count is different, but I don't have those numbers in my head.

    jpflat2a what's that noise?

    If they are drum brake hubs, yes they will work.
    You will run into wheel bearing ID/OD difference on early 25/27 hubs.
