75' dash temp control lense

Are the temperature/fan control lenses available, and where? The lettering is nearly gone on mine.

 

No source that I know of.

Those plastic heater control panels are often broken, so you may be able to find a broken donor for with some good lenses.

 

what about trying to make some vinal stickers to repalce the letters? That is what i am thinking of doing

 

Only problem with that is they're actually backlit and partially transparent. If you had an opaque vinyl sticker you would lose the backlighting and wouldn't be able to see them at night.

 

mine are not lit up anyway so i did not give that any consideration. before i started my rebuild they were all in or all out. did not need any light

 

Is that bezel plastic or fiberglass? I can't remember - it's been too long since I looked at mine.

 

It's plastic. They get brittle with age and break.

 

I see. I think mine's cracked, too.

Wonder how much it would cost to have these custom molded?
