Just a quick little update, got the drive shafts and the starter back on also found a generator pulley. Did a compression test don't want to talk about it :( got the body work done and finally got some paint on it. I could not get the tape to stick to the herculiner.

Threw some clear on the single stage looks a little better then before. Finishing the fender hood and grill today. Hopefully get it to the point where it can actually idle by next weekend.

Can any tell me how to measure lift, those are 31" tires and they don't look quite right. Thanks.

Thanks, Getting hard to get motivated lately, To hot and to much to do.
Finished the fenders and hood, also got to re herculiner the tub used the left over summit racing clear coat on it, hopefully it will last and keep it from fading again.

Anyone know if there is any lift there, those are five stack springs don't know why someone would switch the springs and not lift it.

If it were me, I'd leave those springs on it till I got it done and running. OEM springs are 45 years old, and not worth putting on IMO. What little lift you have on those will settle out some once you add seats, fuel, top etc etc. Stock on an early could range up to 10-12 leaves and trust me, you don't want that!

That's probably true, stiff enough ride with 5 let alone 12, But it would be kinda cool to have the 12 just for stockness of the vehicle.

  14. Cool old drink machines in the background. Do they work? I have an old Pepsi machine that you pull the bottles out of a door on the side. Jeep is looking great!

I hope you're going to replace that copper line you're using as fuel line. When vibration cracks it and it pumps fuel all over your hot motor, I don't want to be there.................Be a shame to burn up all that work, being the right color combo and all. Put a fuel filter between the carb and pump when you replumb it too, cheap insurance.

That is the plan just waiting to get paid. during the school year i only work once a week so not as much income to play with unlike the summer. I was planning to go with bradied stainless line form summit with this fuel filter.

Shouldn't cost to much and will look good. still cheaper then what they want for the prebent stuff.

Already had a small fire, think i might of toasted the generator taking it to a guy today. I think it was grounding some where just don't know where. Anybody ever have a regulator ground out the generator?
