Not exactly Treading Lightly....

 

I'm building my own tub out of 18 gauge sheet metal.

 

This is where my build is gonna start. This is my second jeep I bought it from my cousin in the summer of 2009. It is a 1953 Willys M38A1 with Dana 44 front and rear axles with detroit lockers and 3.73 gears. It came with a t90 3speed tranny and dana 18 transfer case. I have a turbo 350 form it and and I am gonna hook it up to the dana 18. other future plans are to build some custom rocker guards and new tube fenders, I want to get new seats and re-do the roll cage. I am also gonna blow it apart and re paint and powder coat the whole thing. Any input and ideas are appreciated.

 

I don't know how to post pictures on this site. I'm just a mechanic.

Nice collection. I like all of them, but for some reason envy the J truck the most!

Absolutely. Photograph them on either side of the CJ5 and you'd have quite a patriotic picture!

 

NICE LAMAR! Are those gateway gumbos on the five i havnt seen anyone running those in a long time!

 

They are buckshots P-78 / 15's. Got them before they started using the metric designations. Been on it for around 8 years now and amazingly they are still in good shape. they have around 7,000 miles on them.

I absolutely LOVE the last pic with the elk,,,,,,,, awsome. Wife and I are hoping to get our tags this next season.

 

Thanks, I hope you both get tags too. Two elk will fit but one of them has to do the shifting for you.
