This was taken by a friend of mine of a Jeep he stumbled across. It is a strange one indeed. My guess is that it is something built over seas in the early 50s that found it's way back home somehow. I just wondered if any of you might be able to help identify it?

I almsot want to say it was a CJ2a tub with the top stretched to fit an Fhead. You can see a seam at the cowl area. That is a real franken jeep, you should pencil in stiches where the seems are. Still for the price it may be fun ;)

    mb82 I feel great!

I kinda like it, it has sortof a commando look to it somehow. I agree with Dan though, repaint it and put stitches in where it has metal added.

interesting how they have a 2a windshield frame and added metal to cover half the bottom of it. I wodner if it is an fhead in it or something bigger :)

Ahhhh.....Sick humor!! Ya gotta love that.

depending on driveline, it might be worth it, worse case, paint it sickly greenish flesh color, add the afore-mentioned stitches and a dub it Franken-Jeep!!

Heck that would be fun and give the Jeep 'gurus' a run!

It it located in Southern OR somewhere........I have not seen it in person. I just wonder what it really is. It almost looks too well done for a home conversion, yet I know I have never seen anything quite like it from Mitsubishi or Mahindra, and certainly not from any of the Jeep manufacturers.

It does seem to have some "personality" though.........

Sorry for the delay, but I just found out it is in Ontario somewhere. I could probably get exact directions if you want them.
