    Colorado_Baja JEEPS!!

This is my senior project as a welding major. I should have built jeep bumpers, their is alot more to building a trailer than I considered in the beginning.. :) Live and learn.

Here it is, enjoy the pics their are a bunch of them.
Not pictured is an 18" stake bed to fit the stake pockets you see on the trailer.
Right after these pics were taken we brush coated it with Krylon semi-gloss black.

The stub axles and wheel set we used are good for 1000lbs of payload, I'm not sure what the Arctic cat maxs out at but I have towed a VW bug up the road with it before.. :D

How about first class airfare? I'm sure my buddy will let me use up all his miles for a project

Actually this is a bolt together trailer, I think I will weld it though.

No suspension, so it wont be leaving my folks property. But that is why I modified this bad boy aka the numba 4.. So my dad can take the Arctic Cat hunting.

Added the spare mount, folding ramp and new tail light brackets.

Looks good! You sure that's enough steel for a huge trailer like that? :D

    Your property looks good, too....

Were not sure, but were going to beat the crap out of it until it brakes.. :D

EDIT: you should have seen the original plans, we were going to put steel sides on it, I ended up with about 1/3 of what I bought for the project left over..

Thanks it's my childhood home. Lots of fond memories..

Busted out the lumber jack skills this weekend and worked the trailer out a little too.

This was about as much as you would want to load in their, I have no clue on the weight but most of those logs were 50lbs+ I would guess.
