Will a D44 2 hole knuckle from a gladiator pickup fit a D27? It looks the same.

Double check the globe centers with the kingpin bearings just to be safe. I have heard of some early dana 25s needing shims on both caps but I believe that is only with the non ribbed knuckles.

My ‘62 Willys Wagon also has a 2 hole knuckle, This is the late one that originally had the OHC 230. This Wagon has a D25, but the same part on the later pickups.

Nate, if you need/want 2-hole knuckles, I know of some available jeep axles near me with them, along with some other associated stuff.

Yep. Identical. The early J trucks are a good source for these. The one I ran on my 3B for decades came from a 62 wagon. Roy's ex CJ 5 is going to inherit that one now.

Does anyone know what years of wagons and pickups used the 2 hole knuckle? I know the early ones did not but I don't know when the change occurred.

I don't need one. @jeepstar is looking for one and my friend has one from a 44 and I just wanted to make sure it would work for him.

If he doesn't need it, I'd be interested in picking one up.

The owner is not interested in dismantling or shipping the axles, so it would need to be local pick-up.

I have a couple on the shelf. Should probably post one in the classifieds.
