What restrictions are required with Hagerty? Miles driven, garaged, off road, Sunday driver, car show only, etc. What is in the fine print?

In Alabama anything before 1975 does not have to have a title.

 

Most insurance is only good on the 3rd full moon in February anyway!

 

SAFCO same liability as on the car and pickup with agreed value of $20,000 on my 2A has to be garaged at night. 10,000 mile limit per year. O other restrictions. When I finish the Hard top I am building I will be bumping the agreed value up to $25,000

And yes it costs a LOT more then Hargertys show car stuff.

I just do regular cheap insurance that will cover the other car if I'm ever in an accident and it's my fault. Most of my vehicles are not worth all that much, and I don't want any restrictions on how much I can drive them. I love to drive and enjoy my vehicles, I don't want to think about insurance or resell value on a vehicle, It's my vehicles to enjoy. I have a lot of time put into my vehicles, but honestly they probably aren't worth that much. I think by not paying for expensive insurance for years and years for multiple vehicles ends up in my favor. Maybe I'm lucky, but I've never been in an accident with my vehicles or needed any insurance claim taken out on them.

This was also me on my old Jeeps up until maybe 2008 or so when the investment in the 3B got to the point where it was worth more than anything else I owned. It still only has liability coverage but that needs to change so I'm now suffering the conundrum that everyone else has. It is still going to get wheeled.
