This sounds as my problem. Great to read this solution. I will see if I have room for that. I also have the flywheel out now and see some grease on the transmission side. The motorside is clean. Some blue spots on it. so I will machine the flywheel and put in a new clutch/pressureplate and a new seal on the transmission. From there I will work on a stiffer rubber on the crossmemeber and see how I can fit a dampener. I keep you all posted here. Thanks

When the blue spots are gone, so will be your shaking.
Be sure to find and repair oil on trans side leak.

Hi, if you have a picture of the bracket somewhere on the bellhousing it would be great

By doing everything, you will never know which thing it actually was.

That is why I first do the clutch plate /flywheel and transmissionseal. Then I will test and see. So that is one thing to eliminate if it works. If not I will ad a dampener.

Seems like a lot of work. Be sure to let us all know the result.

Flywheel ( almost 24 kg) machined and clutch(luk) installed. Same height as the old one, so it should work. It was straight. Now waiting for the gasket and the seal. So time to clean some stuff and work on a dampener. I like that Idea

Hi, I finaly did put the transmission back in. It took some time because I did a rebuild on the dana 18. had broken gears and a worn out intermediate and frontshaft. But the clutch is working fine now. I did install an engine stay cable for back up. Bur first tested it without. It probably was the flywheel/clutch disk. So now to the next problem. A ticking noise from the transmission when slowing down in neutral. hmmm
