Ok so here is the issue! Generator completely rebuilt. New regulator. When we check voltage at the battery when we have an alternator we get 14 plus volts. What should I get when you have a generator? If I put my fluke leads on voltage regulator I can get voltage and it increases as I speed up motor. But I’m not getting much at battery and maybe none as I had to put charger on it this morning. Help!

    Rebuilt you say?
You may need to flash the field coils.

Not sure if you mean polarity setting this regulator but we did that. It’s funny tho how some of these regulators call for different ways to set the polarity. If I start the Jeep up and check voltage at the regulator I have it from the generator
