Show Us Your Jeep!

View attachment 102560 Well, it may not be my Jeep anymore…
This is the Thunder Cat, free range killer of local wildlife.
About 10 years ago, we had some violent thunderstorms and she went missing for 4 days, last night (early this morning) we had them again from 0200-0500 ish.
Quite rare around here. I have been in them in the south and midwest, but seldom here on the coast.
Mrs T went out and captured her quickly and locked her indoors but she was still very distressed. This is where I found her when I came home from work!
Great Picture , always love the animals.

2025 Colorado Epic is in the books.

Here's mine Scott.

It's funny you say that Ol Fogie. When Scott and I were moving our jeeps into position on that rock you could not see the edge. You were just looking into space. So you had to trust your spotter to keep you from driving off the edge. I tried to get Scott a few more feet forward but he said NO!!!!! It was a bit scary.

Thelma and Louise would come to mind instantly if I was trying to pull up on that rock, I would chicken out 200 feet back from the edge.

I was terrified. Could not see anything out The front or either side. I was a good 4 feet from the end of the slab but could not move up any further. I imagine if you rode your front wheels off you would simply be high centered and need to be pulled back
Not me, if my front wheels dropped off I would die of a heart attack before someone could pull me back!

First trip into the hills after I finished my salvage yard find. This has a 289 with a top loader and powr-loks.

Not bad but I prefer my '69 255 with th350, 35s and air lockers. It just floats over everything and grabs. This one you really have to control the throttle.

You needed Geoffrey as the spotter. He would have no doubt improved that photo considerably------

Installed the 1st Hosp decals on 64 M38A1 to match the one my dad had in Vietnam. Still have to make the spare tire sign for the back. Worked on the 53 A1, replaced radiator, new steel fuel lines along with new flexible fuel line from fuel pump. Buttoning it all up. Bolts for the knuckle seals were all lose. Got new king pin bearings for a winter project. Added on to the shop for the woodworking equipment and between that and working at wife's parent's farm, finally getting back on these Jeeps.

These are my fall projects.
Among others.
Love working on this stuff! Have a tradition of driving the A1 around and looking at the Christmas decorations in the near-by neighborhoods, then coming in for hot chocolate.

Very nice shop area too! Love the jeeps!

That is one Cool Jeep! Love that your buddies are always Jeeping with you!
I guess it goes without saying that you have the keys in your pocket for the Photo Op, or they might take off without you.
The Jeep, the views, and the dogs, are all exceptional!

Picked up a new to me CJ2A. As you can see the immediate need is a windshield frame. I visited @oldtime and went home with a quality, original CJ3A frame with vent. Also got to see his stainless, Jewel body flat fender. What a neat machine.
Ken looks pretty good. Keep him in your prayers as he keeps up the good fight.
