Show Us Your Jeep!

That Tux is an absolutely wonderful jeep. I always look forward to your post and pictures, I hope to see it in person sometime.
Thank you kindly! I’m so far away from most of you living here on Vancouver Island. Over the many years now, friendships have been made, and the distance doesn’t seem so far. Even having telephone conversations! To good health, good friends and cool vintage Jeeps!:)

Maybe we will make it out to your Island in a year or two. Mrs. Fogie has many ancestors from there and wants to visit some of the places where they were from. Plus I know a great guy there with a really nice tux I want to see!

Nice trio you have there! Really like the 3B. It is the same color of my older brothers 3B. He owned it 20 plus years. We went on a trail ride or hunting/fishing trip somewhere in North Ga or Western North Carolina every weekend and often 2-3 times during the week. I learned to drive in it at around 12 years old. I often was chauffer on back woods trips. That ol 3B must of had 1/2 million dirt road and trail miles on it. We replaced the F-134 with two Jasper long blocks and one I rebuilt my self in 20 years. I dearly miss my brother and that ol 3B. I hope there are jeeps in the here after for him.

2025 Colorado Epic is in the books.

Scott and I both did this photo. I know Scott was scared to death going that far forward.

It's funny how comfortable you are in a rig you frequently drive into awkward circumstances, then all of a sudden, perspective changes and you're afraid your foot will slip off the clutch or some other freak movement will send you over the edge!
Yes, this photo op is not for the faint at heart!

I just did the same dramatic pose with the DJ3. Only It's a 10 ft drop instead of 1000 ft drop:

I did one of those when I was in college, classmate was spotting from the driver's side wheel. He told me I had another few feet. Almost kept going till I got a funny feeling. Drop was probably a good 20 feet. It would not have been the worst, but not fun.

Terrain looked very familiar. Hesperia is my home town. I'm in Ridgecrest now. Feels like Hesperia in the 80s.

Decently familar with Ridgecrest. Been through there many times on my way to wheelin trips with the club. Back when I was in college it seemed like I passed through there once a month. This picture was actually take on the edge of Lucerne Dry Lake I believe.

Lol. Used to go out there with my buddy to shoot off fireworks.

Ridgecrest is not as nice as Hesperia once was but it's like wild west so I'm staying. I love seeing dirt bikes ripping around town on their way out to the desert. Hundreds of riders camp in Spangler and Wagon Wheel and Grand Prixs and other events roll through here. Going down a desert wash you might end up on private property facing a shot gun (hmm sounds like last weekend).

Hesperia used to be so great and unpopulated. Cliff diving at deep creek falls, dirt bikes and parties in Honda Valley (right next to our house), Silverwood Lake all summer with the babes. 80 MPH down Main St. and No Cops! Everyone from LA moved there and it went ghetto.

IMG_3379.jpeg Well, it may not be my Jeep anymore…
This is the Thunder Cat, free range killer of local wildlife.
About 10 years ago, we had some violent thunderstorms and she went missing for 4 days, last night (early this morning) we had them again from 0200-0500 ish.
Quite rare around here. I have been in them in the south and midwest, but seldom here on the coast.
Mrs T went out and captured her quickly and locked her indoors but she was still very distressed. This is where I found her when I came home from work!
