75 CJ5 - CO

Looks very original, has a 4 speed, clean fender wells, almost no rust. But that seems like a dealer price, way too high.

A lot or originality on that Jeep. I’m restoring a 75 Renegade Levi edition and recognize that jeep has many features true to a 75.

I have a white Whitco top in the original box. Paid like $1,500 for it 10 years ago. Probably cost me around $500 to ship it from east coast to west coast. Story was they were in the process of cleaning out an old Jeep dealership. A kid (20 something) asked the supervisor what they should do with the top. The guy said throw it away . . . He asked if he could have it and placed it on Craigslist. I jumped all over it.

Its still sitting in a box on my shelf. On a scale of 1-10 it’s an 8.5. Has all the hardware. Either I will find a pre 76 Jeep to put it on or sell it. I’m hoping for the former. (Wife beware.)
