vintage jeeper dual brake master cylinder

Has anyone bought the new "bolt" up dual mastercylinder from Vintage Jeeper? Just wanted to see how it did and what you thought of it. I'm doing a front disc brakes on 1955 CJ5 and want to go with a dual mastercylinder. Theirs looks good, but wanted a review. Thanks!

Could you link us to which dual MC kit you are looking at? There are few different options out there (even on the Vintage Jeeper site).....this one maybe (which is quite a bit different than the Jeepsterman one jeepstar posted)?

I have talked to Sal about that MC shown in your link. He has developed this, and it is a Vintage Jeeper exclusive. It has gotten some real good reviews by folks using it. I plan to order one for my current project.

The bracket kit requires cutting out the original frame mount, and you still have a master cylinder that has to be filled under the floor. The master cylinder Sal (VintageJeeper) manufactures bolts right in using the original frame mount, so no frame modifications, and the reservoirs are up on the firewall which is a whole lot easier to deal with. Not much difference in price.
 
We just installed Sal’s unit as part of an entire system upgrade. It’s a huge improvement over the prior single unit I had. We were able to eliminate the proportioning valve between the front discs and rear 11 inch drums. Sal is also great to work with.
