Shocks ?

I need new shocks on one of my flat fender Jeeps which has 3" of lift. There are a lot of choices, and this is the only lifted Jeep I have owned, so I thought I would ask opinions on what you guys think are best.

This Jeep is my trail Jeep, but does see some road use.

I have been looking at those. The Jeep has Holbrook Longleaf springs which are pretty soft. I like those springs on trail, but not in love with the body roll on road. I am hoping better shocks might improve that.

IMO, there’s no bolt-on shock in production that will substitute a sway bar. Something stiff enough to combat road sway will be murder on your kidneys off-road.

A sway bar with disconnects would be my suggestion.

The shocks on it now are dented pretty bad so it needs new shocks for sure. Never added a sway bar to a vehicle that didn't come with one, so I am looking into that too.

I'm pleased with my YJ shocks but body roll control is definitely not in there department. Heck you can see the body roll when I shift gears.

With Holbrooks - I like and recommend Racho RS9000s. Adjustable for softer wheeling, stiffer on the road. Its what I run on mine.
