1941 Ford GP Value?

What do you think is a fair price for something like this?

Told its a 41 body on a 47 chassis and the motor is blown

Heck, that is not what is typically called a "Slat Grill" which was what both Willys and Ford produced in 1942. That is a Ford "GP" body, the prototype before the government decided on the Willys design which Ford labeled their version as the GPW.
A very rare body and a shame it no longer sits on its original chassis.
 
The Ford GP was one of the 3 "jeep" models (the others were the Willys MA and the Bantam BRC) built before the design was standardized on the Willys MB. The book I have says there were about 4500 built and many were send overseas to Allied governments.
 
Its worth nothing... hear me out..

It's not on its original frame etc, it's not hacked up it seems either, so what do you do with it? You cant put it back together, you cant hack it apart because it's too nice. Its like jewelry thats real that you can't wear out and wish it was costume jewelry.

So, al that being said, I'll over to pick it up tomorrow. Thx..

No such thing as a 41 GPW, but you guys are correct that the filler neck would not have been on the side. The filler neck for the GPW and the Willys MB were indeed under the driver seat.

This is actually a valid question. The body belongs to a pretty significant vehicle, historically. It deserves to be restored. Hopefully somewhere there's an original Ford chassis with a body that's rusted away.
 
Very few all original of these left.
Seen them go for some money on the G503.
All there and original big bucks.
Cool Jeep with history should be worth something.
Lot of "salad "Jeeps " out there being driven and enjoyed. The more original and complete, the more it's worth. That history should be saved if possible.

Pretty rare if it's original but it doesn't look quite right. You have to look for the f script parts on it which might be a pain. If it was super cheap, well that's another story.
