After 18 years my wife finally said goodbye to her beloved Solara SLE Convertible. Her requirements were only that the replacement had to be a convertible and purple.......

Nice choice on car and color! Thundernight I assume? Tiffany was looking hard at a 2 Series in this color last fall. A friend has an older Daytona Violet 3 Series. BMW has had many interesting purples in the last 25 years.

Yes, Thundernight Metallic. It looks way better in person than it does in pictures. She is really happy with it.

I really like the look of the Z4. I had a BRG Miata a few years back, and I really regret getting rid of it. My wife likes BMWs, so ive thought about a Z3 or Z4 as a commuter car. It's even harder to justify a 2-seat sports car than it is a 70-year-old Jeep, though.

Her first convertible was a Black and Tan NA. She Loved it but it was too small for her to do trips in.
