The triggers are notoriously delicate, cast in white metal. Never force one.

Many years back, IIRC, someone somewhere was offering new replacement triggers, at a price.

They door handles on my truck are keyed. My truck would have come with plain unkeyed handles which is why I commented on them.

Mine is a 1947 with a very early serial number. Sold and titled as a 46. I’ve talked with several other early truck owners who have keyless handles on their trucks and also non functioning wing windows. Some 2t and some 4t (2wd or 4WD).
