Distracted driving will get you a ticket. In some locales, if you are at a light and pick up your phone, you will get a ticket. So, the question is, why is it legal to have to go through menus to change climate or radio volume or really any important or semi important control of your vehicle.No politics please, just engineering & ergonomics-
In the states, it used to be illegal for things such as headlight wipers. How did it become legal for such things as non mechanical door handles? How has there been a complete erosion of what used to be law?
We are still talking about banning classic cars, but have no problem with distracted driving when it comes to modernity and progress?
Maybe this is politics and maybe it's also an exercise in hypocrisy combined with the tidal wave of stupidity we are all swept up in. After all, we buy this junk and elect the politicians.
