First I want to thank everyone who helped with the info on hooking up my spartan turn signal. My new problem is how do I hook up the brake lights. I have a new wiring harness I ran One wire to the brake switch and the other wire that comes from the brake switch I don't know where it goes. The wire that comes of the brake switch It is dead when i don't press the pedal. When I press the pedal it is a a live wire. I looked at the wiring guide in the manual 1 wire comes from the turn signal to the brake switch, then the other wire runs to the headlight switch. Am I reading this wiring diagram wrong

There should be an always-hot wire feeding the brake light switch. The wire exiting the brake light switch goes to the turn signal switch.
When the turn signal switch is in the neutral position, the brake light signal passes through it to both of the brake lights.
When the left turn signal is is activated, the turn signal switch disconnects the left brake light from the brake light switch and connects it to the flasher instead. It leaves the right brake light connected to the brake light switch.
And conversely, when the right turn signal is is activated, the turn signal switch disconnects the right brake light from the brake light switch and connects it to the flasher instead. It leaves the left brake light connected to the brake light switch.

The brake lights need to feed through the turn signal switch since the turn signals and brakes at the rear of the Jeep use the same filament in the bulb. The turn signal switch determines if that filament is connected to the flasher or the brake lights.

Not for the brake per se but possibly you will need an LED compatible flasher unit.
