WTB 10 spline Dana 44 offset rear axles And Dana 25 front axles

These are trail spares, so hoping someone has a set or rears laying around after swapping to 19 or 31 spline axles. I think the fronts axles might be harder to source since a lot of folks still have the Dana 25 up front. I am on the Idaho/Washington border and can drive regionally to retrieve, or we will be in the southwest in February/March playing in Moab. .

If your looking for 10 spline shafts for Dana 25, I have a set that I can ship. They have Spicer u-joints.

One-piece tierod, but that looks like a piece of pipe for the center section. No matter, that 2-hole right knuckle is worth more than twice the asking price, then there’s a pair of Warn lockouts too.

I did a little research, and if this is from a Dana 27, the axle shafts don’t appear to interchange with my Dana 25. Is this correct? will the axles interchange? Is there an easy way to determine if this is a Dana 25 or Danna 27 externally?

Someone else may need to correct me, but as far as I understand, D27 and D25 axles shafts are interchangeable. The D27 shafts will all have cross-joint style U-joints though.

Just looked at my 1971 parts catalog and it lists separate center section parts for the parts for D25/D27 as expected, but the only differences in axle shaft applications listed are the type of U-joint. D25/D27 is not mentioned in the axle shaft applications which implies they would fit either.

They interchange. 27 shafts are considered an upgrade. 27’s have the vent in the top of the carrier and 25’s have it in the cover. Typically the model is also cast into the bottom right casting web.

$50 for all show with that axle is a smoking deal. As already said, the two hole knuckle is worth twice that.

So, I’ve sourced the front shafts from the Dana 25 from a member, so just need the 10 spline for the Dana 44 in the rear. Looks like they are about $100 each new, but was hoping someone had a set of shafts laying around that are budget friendly since these are a just trail spares.

I wouldn't suggest brand new personally, (particularly from India!!) Here's a driver side (long) shaft that a pretty good deal. And a matching short shaft from Brent Mullins. That's fair for NOS in my book. If you're looking for a used set, I'd post under M38A1 wanted at the G503 forum. Pete

I didn't see this mentioned, but it might broaden your search. The 10 Spline axles from a Dana 41 will fit a pre 71 Dana 44 offset with tapered axle shafts.
