Progress on the amidships cabinet - got the two main shelves cut and installed. So happy with the wood I bought - it's cutting beautifully and all I plan to do is paint the raw exposed edges. The wood box for the water jugs needs a finish paint job yet then it will get attached to the shelf. Not sure yet if I need to do anything more to secure those jugs.
Bottom shelf I mounted on top of a conduit support frame - that water will be heavy. The fridge shelf I used single-hole conduit clamps aournd the outside of the shelf.
I need to figure out a way to secure the fridge there yet as well.

- Retainer box for water jugs painted up and secured to shelf.
- Trimmed the mid section to match the fridge height.
- Added plugs to finish the ends of the uprights.
- Figured out a way to secure the fridge in place (better strap ordered).
- Added an aluminum lip to the water jug shelf.
- Verified that the Ecoflow Alternator Charger will fit on the backside of the water jug retainer box, and cord will reach the house battery where it's mounted.
- Trimmed the mid section to match the fridge height.

Doesn't look too different but changed out the hardware for black, painted all the edges, and trimmed the screws to length on the backside. This angle shows the texture better.
One more to mount than will have to do a test fit to verify the section that completes the bed matches the rear platform I built. Then I can add the remaning skin sections.

Schlepped it all back out to the truck for a test fit. Have some tweaks to make but overall I'm happy.
View from inside. The lower left opening will get a plywood panel and a 6" access door to reach the battery from inside.
From outside door, fridge, water, champ chairs, and battery all accessible.
Happy that fridge ended up a little in and down and now the door opens all the way.
With the overall height trimmed down we still have good visibility out the drivers side middle window:
Nice cubby at the bottom of the driver's seat. I have my eye on a solar blanket that may end up here. Or our camp table would stow there nicely. Or spare shoes.
Switches will mount in the middle on the top so I can get to them from inside or outside the truck.
My fan was a casualty - I have a 8" 12v boat fan to mount and thought it could also mount on the cabinet but it blocks my rearview too much. It'll go back to where I had originally thought - in the rear drivers side corner. I'll have to modify the bed frame to add something to mount it to.
I made a few notes and marks and buttened everything up - too hot out there!

Just got the truck back from a wrap shop. I got tired of the monochrome look. But of an SSDutch homage here - finally getting some champagne gold metallic on a driver.
Gonna look at it for a couple of days, but I also might come back with a black pinstipe right where the colors meet. And I'm not sold on the hood graphic as a whole.
Course' now I gotta detail the rest of it so it looks the best in it's new clothes.

The gold really makes that look great. Just enough to give some spark to the all white.

Thanks! The photos make the gold look a bit deeper/darker than I think it looks to the eye. But I'm happy with it - there are so many of these trucks on the road still so nice to have a little uniqueness going on.
