Hello....i'm An Addict And This Is My 6!

Finally, I catch a break and beat others to the punch. Warn 8247 at an excellent price and not 8 hours away, only 45 minutes!

I'm always a day late on those.

That second winch is a Bellview/warn, will need a rebuild but the price was super right on that!

Well, been a lot of back and forth getting the rear hubs/disc brakes. Waiting on a couple of seals to finish up then I will order the new axles.

I also, got tired of the old air compressor so I ordered a new one. Other than it is 412 lbs, it is super quiet and worth every penny.

Well, it has been a busy February. Got a couple hunts in and the last was a bit chilly.

Got back to the 6 a little today. About ready to order the axles from Dutchman, and new flex brake lines.

I mounted my rear wheels with the spacer on and the calipers had not much wheel coverage. (I didn't take a photo). So I took them off and just mounted the wheels straight to the hub.

Should I be worried about knocking the caliper? Or am I make a big deal out of something small?

I will put a spacer on again to show better what I am asking.

I have been running the electric parking brake since brennan started selling the brackets and i love them. I did clock the caliper up one bolt hole to keep the electric motors safe and i haven't hit them on anything yet offroading. I am also using the wilwood controller kit, works perfectly but is expensive.

I may look at it tomorrow, and see about clocking it up. I am a flanged axle, is your the flanged or tapered?

I see you had a couple of Brittney Spaniels and a Golden. I have had both as well as an English Setter. That darned little Brittney out hunted them both. He would hunt until I had to make him stop. It was unbelievable.

Close, we hunted with 4 Brittney's and a Toller (My girl). This was her 3rd trip, and she actually, came out of her shell. She has better nose then my other two Tollers, but she came down with SRMA, which set her back, and changed her personality.

My old girl, I wanted to hunt her but, the weather was just to cold this trip.
In her prime...

She was the only dog on this day. She earned her keep.

Didn't take any photos today, but got some little stuff that needed to just get done. Heated the frame to get bend out, it is better than it was. Got a dash brace built and painted, will install later this week, waiting for the paint to dry. Got my measurements for they new axels and flex brake lines. Will order those items tomorrow.

Well it has been a while, finally got the axles from Dutchman and the correct inner seal, so I got the carrier pulled, seals in and axles installed, along with the lock out hubs. Will .ake towing so much easier.

Awesome on the FF kit! Looking forward to hearing if you think it was worth it. I'd also love to hear how you like the Micky Thompson MTZs, they're on my short list once my Jeep is on the road.
