What's your other project (non Jeep) . . . show them off here!

Hey all,

After joining the quitter's club last year I have expanded my other hobby of sim flying and racing. Smaller footprint and much easier and cheaper to push a reset button rather than fix the real thing when you crash.

As you can see I have the option of either flying or racing, less than a 5 minute change over. I also can switch to a joy stick/throttles to fly helicopters and try to land on an aircraft carrier with a F-18.

Currently learning the Boeing 737 from cold dark start to landing with the auto pilot. Keeps me busy.

WOW

That looks like a whole of fun. Nice skill to have. My neighbor is a pilot flying cargo. He got his Captain's license. I was talking to him, and he was telling me about training for it. He had to fly a simulator, and they made one thing after another fail to see what he would do and how he would react to save the plane. I thought it was fascinating. I would love to learn how to fly. My dad was a flight surgeon in the Navy, so he had to keep up enough flight hours to bring the plane in if everyone got killed back in the 50's. We were going to take flight lessons on base in the 70's, but they quit offering them before I was old enough.

You really need to learn to land before anything else.

I can land one if i need to. (College picture)
15 years later, Don't expect it to be graceful. First order will be a special transponder ident and radio channel.
