I was looking at my engine yesterday and I think one can be squeezed next to the alt. on the passenger side fender. I have a double alt. pulley that would work perfect. If I get around to it I may try to mount one this summer.

I have never tried it but thought about the concept for my suburban once or twice. On that note: If you go to WWW.coloradok5.com the garrage forum has a huge set of posts and pictures on how to setup onboard air with york and other factory compressors. It was just posted in the last week or two. I would have posted the link for you, but I am running out the door and will have to look later. The brackets will be different, but the setup and plumbing are similar.

not so worried about the plumbing and wiring as I am about the mounting. there is tons of info on plumbing, but not so much on mounting to a 231. The diagram on my first link mounts the york above the alternator....I guess it is going to be a trial thing! now if I can just find a york...................................
