Been wrenching on other people's Jeeps more than my own this week. All of them with square headlights. Go figure. R) (j/k) Anyway, I think it might've paid off. One of the Jeeps was an SOA conversion. The guy originally had 4" YJ SUA lift springs and (after I pleaded with him) he finally decided against putting the 4" springs SOA and went back to the stock set for a total of about 5.5" or so. Long story short, I'm going to leave and these springs are 4" springs are just sitting there, so I inquire and he says "Take 'em." Score. Now, question is: "How much lift will the 4" YJ springs give my '73?" I am trying to clear the 34" Swampers as pictured below. It would *really* be cool if it cleared enough to put a nicer set of front fenders back on. Think it will do it?

Sweet. No body lift on that?

I'm trying to do this Jeep in the same theme as "Black Jeep;" just run it and try not to let it suck me dry. Coincidentally, it is already black. ;)

Body is fiberglass so it probably sits a little higher than a stocker. My body mount bushings are about 1.5 inch. But I plan to drop the extended shackles that came with the kit and go to a stock length shackle to lower it back down some. It sits that high....

Is it just optics or does the exhaust blow right into the rear tire? It looks really close in the trailer pic.
