With the Pertronix electronic ignition, doesn't that require the upgrade in spark plug wires for higher intensity ignition?
Thank you for that picture!! Oh, how alarming, they took a pretty engine and made it not so pretty with all that smog stuff~ do I just block off that line, maybe position it towards the back of the engine?

I always had a normal coil and regular ol' spark plug wires with the pertronix on my f-head. Ran it for 20 years with no problem, but I'm not sure if the dauntless has different requirements.

    That's what I did.
I blocked mine off with a vinyl tube cap and then rotated the assembly so it was located in the back where it is less visible. Most people looking at the engine don't notice it.

    Thanks for the compliment.

Yes, regular distributor cap. I run points & condenser.
I got my ignition components from NAPA

    Plug wires.

Getting the section of the tall garage ready for paint/prep/sanding etc. When officially painting I'll move everything out.

I've got more lights coming as I want it lit very well vs the past of poor lighting and my eyes just aren't what they used to be:( The rotisserie was worth the time and making the task much easier. I will paint the grill at the same time as I'd like to mount the tub/grill for sake of getting the radiator hooked up and with the tub in place, start wiring~omg, I'm getting ahead of myself!!! We have our 12 y/o grandaughter coming over Wednesday for several day~ I'm wanting to do some woodshop projects with her~ I'm her only opportunity to learn things other than cell phones n TV stuff. Last time we made a really nice Bird house; with supervision, I taught her how to use the Band saw and still closely supervise, air stapler, cordless drill, etc. She's very mechanically inclined and is logical, like me;)

It's not going to be perfect, but should look good for a DIY'er. Here, working on the sides, sprayed epoxy followed by a few coats of build primer, then sand n sand n sand~ this picture I hadn't started sanding yet;)

Looking good! What did you end up using to fill the seams between body panels?

I don't deserve it , yes I do , It took being wiped out by Harvey to wind up with a super cool garage :D , but I did work hard to make it a really nice place~ the house is great too, but I could live in my garage :bananatool:

Ok, don't get upset for goodness sake ~ but I put out a post to my family of several color of jeeps, about 30 people and all like this color and accents, so this is what I'll be shooting for~ my way~ I think it will look great. I wish there was a way to put louvers in my hood~ I think that would like nice and be a good thing.
Of course mine won't look exactly like that Trailcat, I'll have my own hood side decals, but I like the cowl black with the stripes coming down and the black windshield frame, and of course the black out grill
and I sure like the tubular doors!~

I'm looking forward to seeing how it comes out with the sublime lime!

Good color choice! Have you thought about how to incorporate the green in the wheels? Assuming you're not going with beadlocks. Or you could do something similar to your brother's Jeep's wheels.
