Wrong Radiator

My stock radiator is leaking, so I thought I'd go get a nice shiny new aluminum mustang one. Well, I tried to install it and quickly noticed I have the wrong one. It's too skinny. My jeep is a 69 with the 225 V6 and the radiator is about 22 inches wide. This one is about 17. That leaves a lot of empty room on both sides, plus I couldn't see how I could make the fan clear the hoses and petcock. Has anyone made this work? That is, put a skinny mustang radiator in a jeep that had a wide one?

It's been a long time since I bought it so I don't think returning it is possible.
