I just bought a good used windshield frame and glass from a fellow member (thanks Darren C. Kern). I was wondering what wires go where, there's a black, green, and red wires. My original wasn't hooked up and his wasn't either. Can i hook it up to a toggle switch or do i need a wiper switch? Thanks

I put a On-On-On toggle switch on my three wire motor with a 8 amp inline self reseting circuit breaker for the supply power to the switch and it works Awesomely I cant remember the wiring code but will look at my book tomorrow when i am out in the garage

got the switch on mine from an 74. one is slow. one is fast. the last is park. the wires "should" have a plug on them. fits nice in the switch. If not, the old hot wire to the bare wire technique is needed.

I did not have time last night to look at the wiring on mine but here is how you will want to wire it 3 position toggle switch on-on-on bottom pole for the switch in the down position will be your park position middle is slow and top is fast crimp on three female fully insulated stak-on connectors on the three wires from the motor crimp on three male fully insulated connectors ( make sure you get the ones that are fully protected from shorting out on each other. and then play with the wire configurations till you hit the right combo on the power supplying the hot to the switch you will want to install a 8 amp inline circuit breaker between the fuse and the switch. I know on mine that the window must be completely upright to test it has a mercury switch in it that will not allow it to operate in the down position.
