Hey everyone I am about to buy a top for my 1968 CJ5 and it has a newer windshield frame on it and before I go and spend 800+ dollars on something like that I want to be sure what it is. I have been told before that it is a 75 but I want to make sure that if I buy a top for a 75 that it would fit correctly

Yes, '75 or earlier. Glass shape says 68-69ish.

I'd cut those bars off. They won't do anything but give you a headache. The windshield will fold like a cheap suit if the Jeep rolls over.

That's gonna hurt when it rolls.

And that is a correct 68 windshield.

Yeah the roll bar was the PO's doing and I wasn't to fond of it either, so if I buy a top for a 68 I'd be ok?
