Anyone have a Ramsey PTO winch on their 3A or 3B? I can't find any detailed pictures of the mounting or that show whether the bumper has to be extended.

I have a Ramsey mounted on an early CJ5 frame. Will the mount for the 5 work?

Thanks Ken! That helps a good bit. Still hoping someone comes along that has some detailed pics of the mount in and/or out of the frame. I can mock up and fabricate a mount, but I'd rather duplicate the original mount.

The M38 and M38A-1 frames have inner frame horn gussets.
Those gussets were designed to accept two bolts per side. (1/2" NF thread)
The sides of the Ramsey cradle were idrilled to fit those 4 horn gusset lugs

The 246 Ramsey craddle that I have came from an M38-A1.
Althought the gusset bolt patern is the same it does not properly fit an M38 frame.
The M38 and all of the CJ flatties have much shorter frame horns.

For Scotties Jeep I opted to mount the Koenig 100 underslung design simply because its a superior fit.
