Willys Chrome Trim Ring Question

I always think Is know so much about a willys and then every once in a while it gets me that there is much more to be learned

Anyone know if the chrome trim rings on a 2A are larger than a 3A or Wagon. I am putting my restoration together and put my headlight buckets back in my 2A today. I was short the trim rings so I went out and grabbed a couple nice ones off a 50's wagon only to find out they were not big enough. So I went back to the garage and grabbed a couple of of 3A rings off the bench. Still too small for the buckets.

By chance were my buckets not original ones and possibly off a later model? or are the 2A's trim rings just about a half to an inch bigger? When I disassembled the grill it seemed to have never been taken apart before w/ still having original wiring and rubber grommets in back of the buckets?

Like I said, you never know as much as you think. I own 10 have owned over 20 and still never really realized there was a difference. I Thought they were all the same size!!!
