If one were to own a 3B, and would like detailed information on restoration, would the Universal Series that covers 3B, 5, 5A, 6, DJ 5&6 be sufficient or would the Universal Model 3B manual be a better choice?

I don't own a 3B, but I have a number of different manuals for all models. I believe the Jeep Universal manual should be fine for your needs. The 3B was a transition model - only the body shape is unique, and not much there that would demand a dedicated manual. I wasn't even aware there was a 3B-only service manual, and I think it's main value now would be as a collector item.

Thanks for the reply Mojave. The 3B service/owners manual ran 77 pages long.
