Im converting a 1980 ish Turbo Regal HEI right now. Gutting it for the MSD 6AL config -- pretty easy. Odd fire ring was like $7.58 at Rock, forgot to order OF Cap. Hardest part was trying to figure out the relative position the thing "points to" -- I had no clue! This diagram was helpful (upper left is odd-fire with "unused" terminals in black). I was so confused by the "8 o'clock 11 o'clock" references because I view the distributor from the Drivers side fender looking at the distributor, not front of vehicle. Also, the "Bat - Tach" should point towards the carb and vac advance to the radiator.
