I read it as : your not working with a stock vehicle . sorry 4 cylinder - T 98 . standard equipment . as said some of there parts fit a wide range of years and vehicles . but in your case they got it wrong . if it was me I would have just sent the whole kit back

I would have sent the whole kit back too. The name "Kaiser Willys" means to me that you know of all the options that could have been ordered. That should mean there is at least a caveat to state that this kit may not fit a small minority of jeeps.

Oh, yes, I do remember that view. When I was putting my clutch assembly together, the cable came off the fork. I had to heat up an old set of long-nosed pliers and bend them slightly to get the cable lifted up to where I could re-attach it. It can be done, but it wasn't easy. There was no way I was going to pull that tranny and xfer case again. That thing is heavy!!! No aluminum there...

I could have sent the kit back, and should have, but then what would I have gained? now I know not to do business with this company.

New board member here (intro posted). I'm 99% sure this is the problem my jeep is having. Like @jeepstar I also moved the adjustment nut and allayed some of my problems, but the adjustment isn't enough to fix the whistle/grind.

Even though I'm inexperienced fixing Jeeps, I'm not too fearful of diving into this project. Should I be?
