While painting Teds wheels, I thought this might be helpful for some people. Early jeeps, such as 2As came with what are known as motor wheels. Here’s the difference between the motor wheel and a KH. The motor wheels are worth more than the KH wheels. If anyone has other wheels to add, please share!

Motor wheel: has a raised section around the lug nut

    KH wheels are flat across

Are there numbers by the valve stem hole and stamped inside the rim?
Date code info along with an M (Motor Wheel) is stamped by the valve stem hole and diameter and type of wheel and width on the inside
Info on Kelsey Hayes included K- Kelsey Hayes 1 manufacturing plant = Romulus , MI (other plants?), next is the last digit of year, then the valve stem hole, next is one or two digits for month 1 thru 12, next is one or two digits for day of month 1-31
I believe there may be other stampings as well.
