I am looking at getting some new wheels for my machine. The new rims I am looking at have 3.75" backspacing.

Does any one know if the additional .75" of back spacing will cause a problem?

Prob. depends on what you're doing tire-wise...might cause more rubbing.

Gotta say...I'll miss the stock look of your 5...

I am staying with the same tires 235s might upgrade to 30x9.5 one day.

My wheels are warped from sitting on the rim to long.

new to the cj ideas of tire fittment, but with the Cherokee's, bust out the sawzall and make em fit...

less backspacing will make the tire more able to hit the fender at full stuff

235/75r15 is about a 29.5"x9.2" tire anyway - going to 30x9.5 is basicaly the same, IMO...

question - is the 235/75r15 the stock tire size for the CJ?

what is the bolt pattern on the new rims that you will buy?
