    Man,
That's some cool construction work. I really like the round door and the shutters.
The kids should love playing and hanging out in that cool hide out.
    Good job.

I dig your hardware ... Lockset & Hinges that is . The Williamsburg beaded Clapboard siding is a pretty nice touch , also. It takes a talented carpenter to pull off those details . Is that, by chance your occupation ?

Thank you! The door handle is for a screen door and can not lock you out (thinking ahead for older brother vs little brother). The beaded siding is all vinyl, I like it more than dutchlap. I am not a carpenter by trade, just as a hobby. I have a little wood shop that I tinker around in. By day I am an electrical contractor, mostly commercial/industrial/farm ag with a little residential mixed in (y)

Washed my boat this afternoon. The Live Oaks loose all there leaves in the spring. Then some kind of tassel thing. Nice new leaves and a big mess in the yard. And in the boat.

They don't seem to, pretty easy to pop them loose with your thumb.

mathes-fan.png Late 40's Mathes Cooler fan...stripped, stained, new grill, replaced the fan unit (too small, but all I could find quickly). Hairpin legs added by PO but I cut them down to 1/3 the length. Fits into my midcentury-themed office...;)

It is 2ft wide and 8ft long, and 1/2in thick. Should make a good place for a big vice.

A quick morning project I’ve been wanting to tackle... I made a pistol mount for my dirt bike out of 14g plate.
A client gave me his old .38 Special when they moved into a condo because he figured he’d no longer need it. I picked up a $15 soft holster for it at Cabelas that clips onto the plate. I’m mounting it to the triple clamp behind the number plate.
