I have this novel thing called an office now. The furniture I got is so old it's in style again (mid-century modern). I always liked the "ball clocks" from the 50's (they were made in W. MI even). But I didn't want to shell out the $ for an original or a knockoff. I decided to see if I could make one using all Walmart supplies. Just wrapped it up today.

Got this saw out of an old barn last weekend. It looks like it can run. Fixed the pull start. It has great spark but wont fire even with gas in the cyl. I pulled off the carb and the reed valves were stuck open. I havnt opened up the carb yet but thats next on the list.

Picked up this 87 Zuk last thursday night and drove it home (from Hattiesburg) in a nice little thunderstorm that passed through then drove it to Starkville friday night to show it can do more than off road. Primarily used as an off road rig since 2006 but steering is decent enough for the street for now. Full cage, 1.3, front and rear locker, high steer, YJ springs soa, 35's and some other unknown stuff. Got the front bumper cleaned up today and reinstalled. Getting 20 mpg and better for the past 500+ miles I've put on it so far.

New top came today. Luckily the cage doubles as the top bow.

Cool suzuki kinda sucks they cut the doors but i guess you can make some soft uppers pretty easy.
I threw together this hood rack so i can strap down chainsaws and stuff when the back is full. It works great! I made it out of the base of an old dog cage just cut out for the hood scoop and welded on 3 tabs to screw down where there was already holes.

I realized I couldn't use the zuk to tow or haul much of anything so after work I bought this. $400 but it runs and drives so I can't complain. 1985 Nissan 720 KC ST 4x4
Needs a few odds n' ends but nothing expensive.

Of course!!! It's everything I want in the 3B (cage, lockers, YJ springs soa) and once I'm done with the 'B the sami will most likely have to find a new home.... or I will :n:

Wheel Horse 877 Got it today for free. Cleaned the tank and carb and changed oil. Its a hydro so I want to do the trans aswell. Swapped the rear wheels for the skinnys the old tires were junk well one of them anyway. It needs a battery. Got it running. while spraying starter fluid the hose came off and got sucked in the intake valve so I had to pull the carb off to fish it out. Runs good though. And I need to put deck belts on it which seems hard because its gear drive. And the seat needs new foam desperately.
