Crawl over it and under it, front to rear. Rust in tool box under seat, hat channels, frame rust especially around hangers, front of frame busted/repaired, wiring, steering, etc. Is the body original, been replaced, repro? Pictures for us to determine originality? :)

The CJ3B has new wiring harness the tranny and transfercase have been gone thru , most every thing has been gone thru all new seals in the rear ends the only thing is the owner has done all this work and still has stock brakes but this may be an easy fix when I get it home .New tires, hoses and belt.I know everyone will say what do you have 2 Willys for when you can only drive one at a time Ill just have to say its one more than I need but not as many as I want:beer:

I won't say that, I've got 7 JeepsR). Most on here wouldn't say that eitherR).
See if he has receipts for the work that has been done. Even if he's done a lot of it himself there should be receipts for the parts and materials. Otherwise anything that isn't visual is hearsay. I'd agree with already what's been said as far as what to look for. Also check for steering play, play in the linkages, that sort of thing. All of the above. Just make sure the title is good as well. I do love the 3b, don't see too many out there, ugly as most feel about them.
