It "feels" like a 1/2" but before I go out and buy a wrench to get in there (or drop a socket in there...R)) I'd like to find out for sure. Anyone know? Its the bolt at the top of the T90 case with the head inside the bellhousing. TIA

    :?
all the bolt heads are on the trans case side
that is, the bolts that hold the trans case to the bellhousing
should be no bolt head inside the bellhousing

I was wondering about that also, I've never seen one bolted from the inside. With everything bolted up I can't see how you woudl have enough room to get a tool on it from that teeny inspection port in the T-90 bellhousing.

My bad. I was having problems removing the bellhousing and the T90 from one another and the only thing that I could figure out was what appeared to be a bolt sticking through the T90 case with what I could only figure as the bolt's head inside the bellhousing. I couldn't remove the bellhousing from the engine either, so that compounded the problem, because I couldn't tell. It obviously wasn't that bolt that was causing my problem. That bolt is only holding on an outer flange to the T90. I had just figured that it was going to be some exotic Willys-Overland bent wrench that I would have to somehow find. :)
