what is this?

i have a 43 mb and under the dash is a box anyone tell me what it is

 

It's a radio filter,or thats what I call it,it filters the power for the radio so it keeps most of the static down.Looks like its missing the cover.

 

Flux capacitor?

Well it has too many wires for a filter circuit. Only need two wires for radio supression? Looks like it could have been for three diff switch ckts (push in "on" push in again "off") or three circuit breakers (re-setable). Does each button have two terminals? Can you push the buttons in and hear a click (if it clicks each time it's a switch). hth

 

Looks like an old circuit breaker setup.

 

Where do the wires go? That might narrow it down.
