    Hi all,
Does anyone know what goes here?
I have two holes (bolts and nuts at the corner of my windshield). I’m guessing that something goes there, any ideas?
Also there are two holes at the rear end of the deck (by the tail gate)? See the attached photo.

In the windsheild, the hole accepts an eyebolt. The eyebolt forms a socket for a rod that stiffens the top of the door opening in the soft top.

The holes in the floor are for seat brackets, I think.

Are you sure about the windshield holes Tim, I always thought they were for the later style sun visor.

The rear floor ones are definitely for seat brackets, from the factory there were actually knock-outs there, if you look you'll see some more, should be a single one about a 1 1/2' forward with a corresponding hole drilled underneath through the hat channel.

My early 5 had a 90 deg bracket mounted to the windshield in that local for the top bow support rods to fit into

Thanks everyone for your replies. Jeeper50, Jon wants to know if you have a picture of the 90 degree bracket or know where he can get one. Sandy

This is correct. I had them on two of my Jeeps. They are little black sheet metal brackets.

I'm likely thinking about a Kayline top... that was 30 years ago, so I could be mistaken.
