If I had the room for it, I might ask what the going rate for one of them might be. Very nice.

Made some good progress yesterday. Fired it up for the first time since I started the tear down. Waterpump is eating itself though so have a new one coming in today, about to go out and pull off the old one in preparation. Still waiting for front seats to come in along with front bumper and bumperettes. Prepped the new windsield frame with the wiper hardware and whatnot. Going to get it in place before putting in glass. Hope to have it inspected and registered in the next week or two. Fuel gauge doesn't work. Not sure what's going on there. I think it may be the sender but I checked it with the OHM meter before putting it back in and it checked out.

Made a biscuit run in the blue 6. And washed it, and run out of gas. Both on purpose. I have a Pollack valve for the switching process, so only takes a couple seconds. I wanted to see exactly how much gas the homemade extra tank would hold.
9.01 gal topped it off, which is a big gain in addition to the original 10gal underseat tank.

Water pump removed waiting for replacement. Back seat in along with its seatbelts. Windshield frame, windshield and wiper assembly in place, tailgate installed, finished up the battery tray install, the support arm that came with it was way too short but I happened to have another support arm that looked like it as for a fender that fit perfectly.

Installing that glass took a good chunk of the day lol

Installed some led tail lights. 3d printed some spacers so the replacement fit the old housings.

Almost there. Most of the soft top hardware is on. Front bumper on, front seats in, New water pump in, no coolant yet and belts are loose. Letting the RTV cure till tomorrow, horn in, rearview mirror in. Once the wiper blades come in it'll actually pass inspection.

It together enough to move under it's own power. A few things popped up that I'm going to have to figure out. T-Case will randomly pop out of 4low. I've read this can be an issue of worn intermediate gear bearings or thrust washers but the t-case was rebuilt with all new bearings and thrust washers. I have zero power steering, I think I may have possibly put the pressure valve in the wrong way? But overall it's running better than before.

I promised the kids we would tool around our small property when I got it running enough to move. So I strapped them into the back seat and we went and played a little bit.

Afterwards I changed the oil and collected an oil sample to send off the to lab. I'll see how it's looking on this first unknown oil change.

Filled the Jeep today : 40 liters for 75 km.
40 liters is probably 11 gallons.
    75km is probably 47 miles
It means that with 1 gallon I can drive 4,2 miles. Good. For the gas station.
The fact is that my son is training to drive in muddy tracks between fields, and this is in 4WD low!
This costs a lot of money :sneak::rofl:

    Im getting there.

I already did the ones on the tailgate. I used Semi-gloss model paint and did it by hand. My wife thought my line work was too shaky so I'm trying to recruit her to do the sides.

Rollbar and bumperettes on, adjusted the idle screws on the carb, found out I assembled the power steering pump wrong so fixed that, and used one of my original cammie blouses to make a set of chain sleeves.

Thought I remembered seeing this pic of an improved 390.
Hey Rich, I'm interested in doing the same to my carb. Where did you get the spring loaded needle setup, is it simply the same as the TA needle? Also I like the crossover tube, is that just a copper tube?
