If I am buying all new internals, do I need to match the input gear and cluster shaft to my old one? Or can I change to a different count? Is 33 better than 35 on the cluster? Im running 5.38 with 30" tires behind the f134

I've had the "rivets" that hold the bearing cage come apart before too. At least you found the issues without having the loose bearings go through your gears like mine did years ago!
You must keep the 16 or 18 tooth main drive with the matching cluster gear as far as tooth counts, so you can use whichever you can get the parts for. Your originals may not be damaged.

Rounding of the teeth on the sliding gear is not so bad. If you had chipped or broken teeth, that would be different. Looks like some rust pitting on second.

Mmm. I don't know. I'd probably risk it, if it weren't terrible. It's a hobby car, after all.

If thats the worst of the rust and pitting. Rebuild it, clean the pits with a brush and emory and run it like you stole it.

As mentioned, inspect, clean up and run the gears if no worse than what's shown.

I use emery cloth to clean up gears like that - soak them a bit in parts cleaner, brass or SS brush and the cloth. You will be shocked at how good they clean up.

Make sure the surfaces of the roller bearings that go into the input shaft are ok. With that bad input bearing, there would be higher-than-normal and angled stresses on them. I wouldn't be surprised if there is excessive wear or pitting/galling on the male and/or female surfaces.

My first t-90 looked worse than that. I used a wire wheel on a drill in my back yard to get the rust off after I freed it up. Yes it was rusted that bad. New bearings, brass sycnros and a small parts kit made it work fine.
