    Hey guys,
When I bought my jeep the guy threw in some misc. parts, one being a Warn overdrive unit, at least thats what I think it is. Can any one ID this from som pics for me. And if it is is it compatable with a Dana 18 transfer case?
    thanks,

    Jimbo,

It is a warn overdrive and is only compatible with a Dana 18 transfer case (T18's are transmissions :D). Whether or not if will fit your transfer case depends on the barrel gear being compatible with the transfer case. Some are 29 teeth and some are 26 teeth gears.

Give a Herm a call at 360.256.3843 (www.hermtheoverdriveguy.com). You'll enjoy talking with him and he will be able to provide you with any information and/or parts that you might need.

the two things you'll need to match up are the output shaft splines and the number of teeth on the barrel gear.

the barrel gear and the gear on your output shaft will be either 26 or 29 tooth.

the output shaft of the trans will be either six or ten spline. look inside of od barrel gear and you'll see the splines.

the only tranny that came with the 10 spline 29 tooth set up was the t-14........hope this helps............good luck
