Warn hub questions/opinions

    Interesting. Those Cutlass hubs look exactly like the sets of Dual-matic hubs I've had. I've seen Cutlass hubs with the large knurled engaging knob but never like that. A new twist I guess. Nickmil.

    Funny...I've seen them, but never really looked at the guts. They are almost identical. Same copper pins, very similar internals, just a different engaging mechanisim and a lower profile. Wonder if Cutlass Tool and Mfg. made both versions?

    I found the square rubber O rings. I have to order 100 of them at $30 plus shipping. I have a bunch of the round O rings. (for the outer rim of the brass thumbscrew). And they work fine. If you want to check out the square ones, do a search on google for "Allied Seals" then go to square O rings. (referring to early Warn type locking hubs)

    Maxx, That seems kinda steep when 10 or so would probably be a lifetime supply! I wold be willing to try the round ones since you say they work.
    Jeepcj2a, the ones you have use a parge flat tip screwdriver to engage 2 different screws, right?
